How was your November First?
Graybeard spent the day splitting firewood at the barn, and bringing it home to put in the woodshed. We’ve already had to build a couple of small fires to keep the chill out of our home, and feel a bit distressed that the woodshed isn’t full.
Normally, the woodshed is full in the spring, but Graybeard had been in such pain from his hip arthritis, that he couldn’t move well enough to get it done. Now, he’s had his surgery, and is more mobile. Not perfect yet, but without pain. We are thankful!
